| Jan's B&B provides travellers with fantastic Sydney accommodation at a budget price. Self contained three bedroom accommodation ideal for families and groups. The apartment is all yours or share with other guests by agreement. This is an exceptional home in a great location that is very quiet and boasts its own separate entrance upstairs for guests. There is also a spa and swimming pool for the use of guests at no charge. Plenty of parking is available if you are bringing a car. A fully equipped kitchen is available for the exclusive use of guests. The kitchen appliances are new and include fridge, dishwasher, gas stove and oven. Other facilities provided include an iron, television, video, clock radio, toaster and hair dryer. The living room opens onto a large deck which overlooks the Garigal National Park and the swimming pool which guests are welcome to use. There are no carpets, making the rooms ideal for allergy sufferers. The furnishings are also child-friendly. We are just a twenty minute drive from Sydney CBD, a fifteen minute drive to the beach and a ten minute drive to Chatswood Shopping Centre. Relax in the comfort and privacy of our forest getaway. Tourist Information, Sydney NSW Australia Forestville Located in the Warringah Municipality, Forestville is part of Greater Sydney in New South Wales Australia. Forestville is surrounded by natural wonders. To the north and north west is Garigal National Park which includes the Davidson State Park Recreation Area. The park is 2203 hectares and includes many walking tracks, one of which is only 200 metres from Jan's B&B. The National Park is a great place for bushwalking, picnics and bush sightseeing. Both Middle Harbour Creek and Carroll Creek flow through the park to Middle Harbour. To the south is Middle Harbour a part of the spectacular Sydney Harbour and here you will find boating, beaches, fishing and other water recreation activities, all only a short distance from the Sydney City CBD. There is also a marina with boat hire and public baths. Forestville is close to the city, avoid the traffic and leave the car at Jan's Bed & Breakfast, and use public transport. A bus trip to the city is 15 - 20 minutes, or drive to the local station and catch a train into Sydney City CBD. Only a short drive from Forestville you can see some of the most famous beaches in the world, which run from Manly to Barrenjoey Heads. For animal lovers, Forestville is home to the NSW Wildlife Information & Rescue Service (WIRES). It is located in the grounds of the Forestville Public School. Wires annually rescues over 56,000 native animals ranging from koalas to penguins. Regular patients at the WIRES veterinary hospital include ringtail and brush-tailed possums, rainbow lorikeets and currawongs, most of which have been involved in car accidents. They are also often involved in rescuing native animals from bushfire devastated areas. Sydney Sydney abounds in tourist attractions and entertainment.
