Completely Revised Edition Every Year

Publication

The next edition of The B&B Book is due to be published in October/November this year.

Website

The Bed & Breakfast Book is published also on our Internet website - www.BBBook.com.au - and this generates a great deal of interest (and custom) from all over the world.

Each host has their own unique website address on the site or a link to their own website. You may select your own username and password to edit this information and ensure your web page is always up to date.

Our Definition of Hospitality

Hospitality is defined in the Oxford Dictionary as "the friendly and generous welcome of friends or strangers," and it is this definition with the emphasis on friendliness and generosity that we have adopted. Hosts in The B&B Book have the justified reputation of being generous with their time, energy and resources.

Freedom for Hosts

Running a B&B does not necessarily mean you need to be at home all the time. It is good policy to give your contact details to your guests. If you plan to be away for a short break invite a locum to run your B&B or redirect calls to a mobile phone.

You are also entitled to refuse a guest. Explain that it is not convenient and recommend alternative accommodation such as another B&B.
