44 Campbell Street is a delightful weatherboard home built in 1881, purchased by the current owners, Annie and John (Balmain resident of 40+ years), in 1998 and subsequently renovated.
The renovations included the upgrading of an existing artist's garden studio which is the accommodation now offered.
The studio is situated at the rear of the property and has its own private outdoor, sunny sitting area. It has separate access from the street and OFF STREET PARKING is available by prior arrangement.
The studio is equipped with reverse cycle air conditioning, column heater, internet (incl wi-fi), TV (free to air) and DVD player (incl a selection of movie - video store is also close by)
There is a microwave oven, toaster, bar fridge and other appliances to make your stay comfortable.
The garden is secure and suitable for children and pets.
Ferries connecting to the city and to Parramatta & Cockatoo Island are within a short walk at the Balmain (Thames Street) wharf.
Buses to the city leave from Gladstone Park at the top of our street.
Balmain village complete with numerous restaurants, pubs, shops and a Woolworths supermarket is only a leisurely stroll away.
Many guests take the opportunity to explore historic Balmain while staying with us and we provide a detailed map of suitable walks.

The WHITE BAY CRUISE TERMINAL is situated in Balmain and the SYDNEY EXHIBITION CENTRE is close by at Glebe Island. We are happy to drive any guests staying with us to either of these venues if we have no prior commitments.
