| Old Nubba is a sheep/grain farm midway between Cootamumdra and Young, 3 1/2 hours SW of Sydney, 1 1/2 hours west of Canberra. The Schoolhouse, Killarney Cottage and Peppertree Cottage are all fully self-contained and have slow-combustion heating, reverse cycle air-conditioning, electric blankets and linen/towels are provided. They sleep 4-8 and are set in their own gardens thru the trees from the homestead. Farm attractions include peace and quiet, bush walks, birdlife, bike riding, fishing and olive picking (in season). Well behaved doggies and cats welcome. Many local tourist attractions nearby include wineries, fruit picking, gardens, museums incl Aviation museum at Temora. |
