What to expect:

My wife and I have stayed a number of times at Hume's Hovell and never been disappointed. In fact our past experiences have always been surpassed with each new visit. We have looked them up again on your website following a recent stay and will be returning this July for another five days. The suites are spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished and the setting, within the macadamia trees and with access to swimming pool and tennis court, sensational. Best of all, however, are the many personal touches from wonderful hosts Suzanne and Peter Hume. Suzanne's breakfasts are superb and the pleasure we have had sharing 'sundowners' in the cabana with Suzanne and Peter at the end of a busy day spent at Ballina, Byron Bay or lazily reading beside the pool after a spa, a great culmination to a great day! We travel extensively within Australia and overseas but Hume's Hovell is definitely one of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. Every visit for us has been great value for money and provided us with just the enjoyment, luxury and 'therapy' we need to balance our busy lives. Thanks Suzanne and Peter. It just keeps getting better.

20th January What a great time at Hume's Hovel. We had left Coffs at about 9.30. We came here, checked in- huge cabin/studio- basically a small house! It's got all the pleasures catered for - music tv spa and a really large & very comfy bed. Breakfast, just brilliant in the poolside pavilion - farm fresh eggs, great home made bread, home made cumquat jam super coffee. Visited Victoria Park - untouched - pristine. A great place to have found. Peter and Sue are the perfect hosts. Diarmuid & K.
